Time for Summer Travel, Top Brands Recognized by
World’s Largest Travel Community
TripAdvisor®, the world’s
largest travel site*, today announced the winners of its first ever Travellers’
Choice® Awards
for Travel Favourites for India.
The
awards honour top brands travellers prefer to use on their trips, across select
global markets. In India, there were 13 winners across 14 categories ranging
from cameras to travel magazines to luggage. Winners were also announced in the
U.S., U.K., France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and Russia.
“Travellers’ Choice awards
for Travel Favourites acknowledge brands that millions of travellers worldwide choose
as the preferred travel products for their trips.” said Nikhil Ganju, Country Manager for
TripAdvisor India. “The winners in India
are also best in class brands that the large TripAdvisor India community has given
its thumbs-up to as their most beloved products on the go.”

Award methodology:
Surveys
were conducted in each country using a total panel of more than 3,900 TripAdvisor
travellers to select a shortlist of brands/products in each category. A total
of 39,898 travellers then selected their favourites from the shortlists.
